About Me
Janet Rodriguez

Growing up I dreamt of being a teacher or a secretary; by the grace of God, I ended up doing both.
I am currently employed as a secretary, and as God would have it, I am now teaching and
preaching His Word in the Church.

Honestly, I would have never imagined that I would be teaching and preaching God’s Word in a Church setting especially because I am a shy person. In the past, when our pastors, teachers, and guest speakers preach and teach the Word of God, I constantly take notes. I have been a diligent scribe and a constant learner for many years, and I still am. Needless to say, it never crossed my mind that God would use me as His vessel to write a book, but I am surely honored that He chose me to do so. It is the fulfillment of the verse in 1 Corinthians 2:9, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”

I am currently a minister at Grace Temple Church in New York in the Spanish Services. I can sincerely say that it has been very challenging, a journey which is both a blessing and an honor. This position was not served to me in a silver platter, it was such a humbling experience to be in this place as the Lord raised me from the ranks to be able to love and care for His sheep. I am grateful to be an extension of God’s unconditional love to a group of believers with diverse personalities, different characters, and distinct personalities. With all its ups and downs, I genuinely think that it is a wonderful privilege that God has used my life for this purpose and continually gives me the grace to do so.

I was very surprised of this calling and thankful that the Holy Spirit led me to write this book. I truthfully believe that God does not rely on how smart we are, but on how willing we are to do His work. As the bible declares in James 4:6, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble,” so we have to be humble to hear His call and be obedient to act upon His calling!

May our Lord richly bless you and all that’s yours.
